To the International Journal of Community Resilience (INJCR)!
Community resilience is the ability of communities to face and recover from challenges using their own resources. The challenges faced by humanity, including the current COVID-19 pandemic have clearly demonstrated the power of community resilience in sustaining human existence, promoting health and wellbeing, and economic prosperity. While there is a growing community of practice of academicians and practitioners in the field of community resilience, the lack of open access and peer-reviewed journal on community resilience has been much felt especially during the current pandemic. Recognizing this need, The Resilience Academy of the Resilience Research, Training, and Consulting is pleased to announce the launch of the International Journal of Community Resilience (INJCR) with the objective of promoting the academic discipline and the field practice of community resilience. INJCR is a platform for academicians, practitioners, learners, and policymakers to share, innovate, and debate on issues related to community
resilience.
